A body pillow insert is the filled inner pillow that gives your dakimakura its shape and volume. A body pillowcase—or dakimakura cover—is the removable fabric layer that carries the artwork. At Libero Art Studio, our character covers and pillow inserts are sold separately, so check which pieces you need before ordering.

What Comes With a Libero Dakimakura Cover?
Our independently illustrated, fan-made covers let you bring your favorite character artwork into your space without replacing the entire pillow.
For example, the Remielle Dakimakura Cover features hand-drawn, double-sided artwork and a concealed zipper. Its listing includes one cover and one laundry bag—not a pillow insert. You select the artwork version, size and available fabric before adding it to your cart.
Remielle currently offers 2 Way Tricot, Satin and Peachskin in 50 × 150cm and 50 × 160cm, while its 60 × 180cm option uses 2 Way Tricot. Options can differ between designs, so check your chosen listing.

What Comes With a Libero Pillow Insert?
The Soft PP Cotton Dakimakura Pillow Insert is the inner pillow, sold without a decorative cover. Its current listed options are:
- 50 × 150cm / 19.7 × 59.1in: approximately 2,000g filling.
- 50 × 160cm / 19.7 × 63in: approximately 2,300g filling.
Choose according to your cover’s dimensions—not filling weight alone. If the insert arrives compressed, remove the packaging, gently shake and fluff it, then allow time for its shape to recover.
Pillow inserts ship separately from other merchandise and carry a separate shipping charge. Check the product page and checkout for the applicable cost.
How Do You Match a Cover and Insert?
Start by checking both width and length. A 50 × 150cm cover should be paired with a matching-size insert; the same applies to 50 × 160cm.
Buying a 60 × 180cm cover? Our current PP cotton insert listing does not include that size. Arrange a compatible insert rather than assuming either smaller option will fit correctly.

Yes, provided its dimensions and shape are suitable for your chosen cover. Check both listings or labels rather than relying on “standard size.”
Do I need a new insert for every cover?
Not necessarily. Matching-size covers can be changed on the same suitable insert, letting you refresh the artwork without buying another inner pillow.
